Fraud Prevention Hotline Launched In Delaware County
Delaware County citizens who suspect fraud or abuse of government funds, services, and times can now report is anonymously.

MEDIA, PA – In an effort to crack down on fraud and misuse of government funds, services, and time, Delaware County has launched a fraud prevention hotline that citizens can use to report anonymously or on the record any suspected fraud.
Delaware County Controller Joanne Phillips announced the launch of the Fraud Hotline Wednesday, May 23.
"Several counties across the Commonwealth have fraud hotlines, which are proving to be very useful in uncovering fraud and, in many cases, leading to better practices in internal controls," Phillips said. "Regrettably fraud exists, whether we like it or not. Our job as elected leaders, and my job as controller, is to keep it to a minimum."
