Fall Super Sunday

  • When/Where: Sunday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. along State Street in Media Borough.
  • Why Go: Vendors will be selling a wide array of items like antiques, books, collectibles and handmade crafts. Shoppers and residents are asked not to park on State Street and Veterans Square. Parking is available at the lot on Baltimore Avenue and Olive Street. The rain date is Sept. 23.
  • Cost: Free

Delco Fair at Granite Run Mall

  • When/Where: September 12-16, times vary, at Granite Run Mall
  • Why Go: Kids of all ages can enjoy the thrill rides, play carnival games, eat cotton candy or shop around. Anything is possible at the Delaware County Fair.
  • Cost: Free 


  • When/Where: Saturday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in parking lot, 1250 Baltimore Pike
  • Why Go: Bring "anything with a plug" to this recycling event. Small businesses are also welcome to bring electronic equipment. All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance.
  • Cost: Free

  • When/Where: Friday, September 14, 4:30 p.m. , 134 Barren Rd
  • Why Go: Learn cheers, dances, and stunts taught by the Penncrest cheerleaders. All participants will cheer until halftime at the Penncrest Varsity Football game versus Haverford High School. This clinic is geared toward girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 14.
  • Cost: $30, includes T-shirt and pizza
