  • Why Go: Celebrate nature with activities, crafts, animals and kids’ tree climbing with rope and harness.
  • Cost: Free

  • When/Where: Saturday, August 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at , 1 E Front St, Media
  • Why Go: Professional henna/mehndi artist Jumana Bootwala will create a henna design for adults and teens.
  • Cost: Free

  • When/Where: Saturday, August 11, at noon at 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown
  • Why Go: Come join the Huntington's disease community at the zoo. The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. but the picnic lunch in the grove is at noon.
  • Cost: $13 Donation

  • When/Where: Aug. 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at 601 N Lansdowne Ave, Drexel Hill
  • Why Go: Enjoy the main stage production of Hairspray, a Tony award-winning musical, performed by talented young adults.
  • Cost: $12, recommended for ages 12 and up.
