Input Sought For Media Food Scrap Program

A 15-item survey was launched to gain public input on the borough potentially expanding its recycling program to include food scraps.

MEDIA, PA – Media Borough has launched a public online survey that addresses the possibility of expanding its recycling program and you can weigh in now.

The 15-item survey wants to know what you think about the borough's idea of possibly including a food scrap program in addition to its normal recycling program.

"With a food scrap collection program you would be able to separate food from the rest of your garbage, and have it collected for composting at a local compost farm," the borough said.
