Make a Difference in 2019: Volunteer with a Delco Fire Company
This is a New Year's resolution you'll love to keep! And the need for volunteers in all roles has never been greater.
Tired of breaking resolutions that you’ll lose weight or clean the garage every year? Fire company leaders from across Delaware County suggest making a resolution you’ll actually love to keep: Volunteer at your local fire house or rescue squad.
“Anyone who makes this one resolution will make a tremendous difference in their lives and in the lives of others. You will help keep your friends, neighbors, and family safe, and that’s a great feeling. You will learn many new things, make many new friends, and have fun, too,” said Delaware County Fireman’s Association President Judy Kirby, a firefighter, emergency medical technician (EMT), and instructor with S.M. Vauclain Fire Company in Crum Lynne and Rocky
