Man Shot On Interstate 95 In Delaware County: Reports

PROSPECT PARK, PA — Authorities are investigating a shooting on Interstate 95 in Delaware County.

The shooting reportedly occurred Sunday night in the Prospect Park area.

Action News reports police were called to a Sunoco gas station on the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue at about 10 p.m. Sunday.

There, police said the victim, a 50-year-old man, told them he was shot while on the highway, according to Fox 29.

The man and another driver reportedly got into a fight after both driving south near mile marker 12 on I-95 then pulling over.

One of the men pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the backside.

The victim's condition is unknown, the Delaware County Daily Times reports.

Pennsylvania State Police plan to release more information on the incident at a later time.
