Middletown Twp. Council Appoints Chair, Vice Chair

The re-elected Middletown Township Council members took the oath of office at its reorganization meeting on Monday night. 

Peg Amoroso and Chris Quinn, who were re-elected to office in November's Election, were sworn in by Majesterial District Justice, Walter "Sonny" Strohl on Monday. Re-elected Councilman Norm Shropshire was unable to attend Monday's meeting and was sworn in by Strohl earlier, according to Middletown Township Manager Bruce Clark.

Councilman Mark Kirchgasser was appointed as council chairman and Shropshire was appointed council vice chair, according to Clark.

Councilwoman Lorraine Bradshaw was the chair, and Kirchgasser was the vice chair in 2013.

Council's meetings will remain on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

• Zoning Hearing Board: Christian Davis
• Planning Commission: Gregory Reitze, Anthony Mirenda
• Parks and Recreation Committee: Matthew Ferry, William Shaw, Peter Wolff, Jeff Koenig, Sharon Bradley, Jaclyn Clancy, and Karen Holm
