Molotov Cocktail-Throwing Suspect Apprehended: Delaware County Police
Prospect Park Police said a Clifton Heights man threw Molotov cocktails at a home on two occasions in November and December.

PROSPECT PARK, PA — Authorities in Delaware County have charged a man in connection with Molotov cocktail attacks on a home.
Prospect Park Police said Mark Flegler, 26, of Clifton Heights, was charged for the attacks that occurred on the 700 block of 16th Avenue in late November and early December.
Court records show Flegler is charged with six felony counts of arson related crimes, felony risking catastrophe, felony possession of incendiary material, recklessly endangering another person, and more.

According to police, Flegler use Molotov cocktails "in an effort to cause terror, injury, and damage to the residents and their house."
Police launched a full scale investigation into the incidents, with every officer involved in either surveillance, conducting car stops, or consistent patrol in the area.

Prospect Park Police thanked Clifton Heights Police for helping with a warrant service, as well as Upper Darby Police Department, the George Hill Correctional Facility, the County District Attorney's Office, and Upper Chichester K9 Officer Sgt. Brian Gilmore,
Flegler is also charged with weapon and drug crimes in Clifton Heights, court records show.
He is being held on 10 percent of $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing for Flegler is scheduled for Jan. 2, 2024 on the Clifton Heights charges.
A court date for the Prospect Park Charges has not been set.
