Mysterious Explosion Under Investigation In Delaware County: Report

RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, PA — Local, county, and federal authorities are investigating a mysterious explosion that occurred in Delaware County late last week.

According to the Delaware County Daily Times, an explosion occurred at about 9 p.m. Friday on the 500 block of Sellers Avenue in Ridley Township.

The outlet reports social media accounts characterizes the explosions as a "paint explosion" and that a photo showed paint spread across the road.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives has joined Ridley Police, Delaware County Detectives, and the Montgomery County Explosives Unit in the investigation.
