New Census Figures Show Pennsylvania is Growing
Pennsylvania's population is on the rise, according to new Census Bureau data.

Pennsylvaniaβs population is on the rise, according to newΒ Census Bureau data.
New figures released Monday by the federal agency put the total state population at 12,773,801, an increase of 9,326 people when compared with 2012 state population totals.
Mondayβs figures also place the total U.S. population at 316,128,839, an increase of 2,255,154 people over 2012.

Official Census Bureau population counts are done every 10 years; the next one will be in 2020. The last official count, done in 2010, put Pennsylvaniaβs population at 12,702,379 residents.
