After the warrant was issued, the case was referred to members of the Eastern Pennsylvania U.S. Marshal’s Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia and in September 2018, Blue was featured as a Pennsylvania State Police “10 Most Wanted” fugitive.
Marshals got an anonymous tip regarding Blue's location, which led them Chester Police, and Delaware County Criminal Investigative Division (CID) investigators surrounded a residence in the 2900 block of West 12th Street in Chester on Dec. 3.
When Marshals knocked on the door and announced themselves, Blue tried to jump from a back window, but was stopped by authorities surrounding the property, authorities said.
Marshals then went into the home and took Blue into custody after a brief struggle, according to authorities.
Investigators found a loaded semi-automatic .45 caliber handgun near where blue was in the home, authorities said.
Blue was taken to the Philadelphia Homicide Detective Division for processing.
