"After nearly two years of limiting constituent meetings to virtual gatherings and small venues due to public health concerns, I am happy to resume hosting larger in-person town halls as another way to engage with constituents," Scanlon said. "Hearing directly from the residents of PA-05 is always a rewarding experience, and helps me to better serve as their voice in Congress. We’ve all been through a challenging few years, and I want to get feedback from everyone I represent about what’s working, and what isn’t, as we continue to recover from the pandemic. While I am optimistic about America’s strong economic recovery, historic job growth, advances in health care to help limit the impact of COVID-19, and the passage of a much-needed infrastructure package, I also share my constituents' concerns about the challenges of inflation, gun violence, anti-democratic influences, and other inequities that still need to be addressed. I look forward to hearing from residents of the 5th Congressional District as my team and I set strategy and prioritize the work that lies ahead."
The event will take place at 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media.
