MEDIA, PA – The Rose Tree Media School District is joining various school districts in the Philadelphia area in closing its doors Thursday for the Eagles' Super Bowl parade.
The district announced the closure Wednesday, Feb. 7.
"The entire Philadelphia and metropolitan area is in major celebration mode," District Superintendent James Wigo Sr. said in a release. "We have reason to believe the scope and size of this celebration will have a direct impact on our ability to offer a viable program for our students on Thursday."
