September Media Health Inspections: Wawa, DiFabio's

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture inspected two Media establishments in September. Here's what they found.

MEDIA, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture inspected two establishments in Media in September and found one to be in violation of a health code.

Inspectors visited Wawa #6, located at 1260 N. Providence Road, and DiFabio's Market and Tap, 1243 N. Providence Road.

The Wawa, inspected Sept. 7, had no violations.

DiFabio's, inspected Sept. 14 had one.

That violation included cutting board with numerous dark knife marks on the surfaces and edges; the kitchen meat slicer had old yellowish food residues impacted under the blade area; the kitchen salad station upright refrigerator door handles were not clean to the touch and old food residues impacted on hard to see areas of those handles.
