Shooting On I-95 In Delaware County Leaves 1 Hurt: State Police

Pennsylvania State Police said a person was shot on Interstate 95 north in the Upper Chichester Township area Friday afternoon.

CHESTER, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 95 in Delaware County.

The shooting occurred at about 4:10 p.m. on I-95 north near Exit 3 for Highland Avenue in Upper Chichester Township.

Police were called to the area and found a person suffering from at least one gunshot.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Multiple shell casings were found on the road, police said.

The highway was closed for some time as investigators processed the scene.
