Shots Fired Wednesday Night In South Media
Nether Providence Police took one person into custody and are looking for another person in connection with the shooting incident.
SOUTH MEDIA, PA — Police in Nether Providence are looking for a person involved in a shooting Wednesday night.
According to police, officers were called to the 400 block of Leiper Street in South Media at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a shooting.
When they showed up, police saw a vehicle speeding away from the area.

Police tried to stop the vehicle, but it fled for several blocks before crashing.
The driver ran from the crash and a passenger was taken into custody, police said.

Police searched the 400 block of Leiper Street and found evidence of a gun being fired.
There were no signs of any injuries or property damage stemming from the shooting, police said.
