State Police Blotter: Two Women Steal Merchandise, Shopping Cart From Kohls

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the . Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000.
Criminal Tresspass- Mystic Lane at about 6:50 p.m. on June 24. A male from Chester and a male from Philadelphia entered onto the victim's property and knocked on the door, according to State Police. The men reportedly stayed on the property and continued to knock on the door after being instructed to leave by the owner. State police removed the men from the property and charges have been filed against them.
DUI- Route 1 at on June 23. A Wilmington man was taken into custody after operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, according to State Police. Charges filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Harassment- S Pennell Road at about 4:06 p.m. on June 23. Two Middletown women got into a verbal argument that developed into a physical confrontation, according to State Police. State Police arrived at the scene, but several individuals remained uncooperative with officers. One person was arrested, and charges have been filed against several others, according to reports.
Retail Theft- on W Baltimore Pike at about 7:00 p.m. on June 21. Two Philadelphia females removed and concealed multiple clothing items inside a shopping cart, according to State Police. The accused reportedly passed all sale registers without paying for the merchandise, fleeing the store and loading the cart with the merchandise into a SUV. Kohl's Loss Prevention confronted the two women and recovered the $2,045.99 in stolen merchandise, according to State Police. One woman was taken into custody, the other fled the scene and has not been found. Charges have been filed against both the women in District Court 32-2-48.

Robbery- Lot 1067 at at about 8:22 p.m. on June 20. A victim was robbed and assaulted in the mall parking lot, according to State Police. Unknown persons met the victim in the lot and took the victim's money, according to State Police. When the persons attempted to flea, the victim fell from the persons' vehicle and sustained several injuries to the head and torso, according to State Police. The incident is still under investigation.
