Teens, Adult Charged After Fight At Delco High School: Police

Authorities said a 19-year-old man came onto the Academy Park High School grounds and started a large fight involving juveniles last week.

SHARON HILL, PA — An adult from Glenolden and nearly a dozen juveniles have been charged following a fight at a Delaware County High School last week.

According to Sharon Hill Police, officers were called to Academy Park High School Thursday after school for a large fight.

Police said Isaac Singleton, 19, of Glenolden, came to the school grounds and started a fight.

The fight, police said, went from the school grounds to public streets, parks, and parking lots.

Eleven juveniles were also arrested.

Singleton was charged with rioting, trespassing, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and disorderly conduct. It's unclear what charges the teens face.

Singleton was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled for a preliminary arraignment later this month, police said.

Sharon Hill Police thanked the Darby Township, Collingdale, Darby Borough, and Folcroft police departments for their collaboration in handling the incident.
