Porta-Potty Damaged By Firecrackers In Delaware County: State Police

Pennsylvania State Police said someone on three occasions set off firecrackers inside a portable toilet in Thornbury Township.

THORNBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police in October investigated an odd crime involving firecrackers and a portable toilet in Delaware County.

According to state police, troopers were called to the 300 block of Glen Mills Road in Thornbury Township at about 12:40 p.m. on Oct. 14.

Troopers found a portable, plastic toilet — AKA a "porta-potty" — had been damaged by firecrackers.

State Police said over a three-day period, someone came into the portable toilet and lit firecrackers.

The firecrackers caused about $350 in damage to the toilet, which belonged to Port A Bowl Restroom Co. out of Plumsteadville.
