Woman Shot In Delaware County Overnight, Safety Alert Issued

UPPER DARBY, PA — A woman was shot in Upper Darby Wednesday night, sparking a public safety alert from local authorities.

The incident occurred on the unit block of Houston Road.

Circumstances leading up to the shooting are not yet clear. Police said the woman was shot once, and that her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

An investigation and search for the suspect is currently underway.
