• Reid James Watson, Mercer, PA (wkbn.com) — Mercer residents are mourning the passing of 61-year-old Reid James Watson, who died at his Mercer home on May 28. Born in Grove City, he is remembered by his son, granddaughter, father, and extended family; he requested no services, with burial planned at Mt. Washington Cemetery. 
• Inmate dies in hospital after being found unresponsive in cell: Dept. of Corrections (wkbn.com) — An inmate at SCI Mercer died Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital after being found unresponsive in his cell last Thursday, according to state corrections officials. Pennsylvania State Police and the coroner are investigating the death, and authorities say the man had been housed at the Mercer facility since late April on a resisting arrest sentence.
