• Samuel Keithline (rocket-courier.com) — Meshoppen readers are remembering Samuel R. “Sammy” Keithline, born in Meshoppen in 1955 and longtime resident of nearby Tunkhannock, who passed away at home on Aug. 1 at age 71. His family recalls his sharp humor, love of lawn care, devotion to his daughters and grandchildren, and notes that a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
