📰 News we're reading
• Midd-West boys soccer family ties run deep (alliednews.com) — Midd-West boys soccer's success today is tightly linked to decades of Middleburg and West Snyder tradition, including 97-year-old former coach Raymond Moyer still advising his great-grandsons on the field. Longtime residents will remember district playoff quadruple-headers in Middleburg, as the family's multi-generation sports legacy continues with current Mustangs eyeing college careers.
• With schools closed and more youth involved, Bloomsburg Fair becomes a classroom (wvia.org) — A Middleburg high school junior is helping represent Snyder County agriculture at this week's Bloomsburg Fair, where youth from across the region show animals and talk with visitors. With most Columbia County schools closed and thousands attending daily, the fair doubles as a hands-on classroom in farming, responsibility, and leadership for 4-H and FFA students.
