• Herr Memorial receives $10,000 grant for small and rural libraries (dailyitem.com) — Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg has received a $10,000 national grant to improve accessibility and community engagement, with a special focus on serving residents with disabilities. Staff will complete training on leading community conversations, then invite locals to an in-person discussion to help shape specific accessibility upgrades to programs, services, and spaces.

• Botts, Rainey Set To Coach In D4 All-Star Game (easternpafootball.com) — Mifflinburg head football coach Cody Botts will lead the South squad in this year’s District IV North-South All-Star football game, with several fellow Mifflinburg assistants joining his staff. The game kicks off Friday, June 19 at 7 p.m. at Milton’s Alumni Field, with Hall of Fame inductions at halftime and $10 tickets available at the gate.
