• Long-awaited animal diagnostics lab opens in western Pennsylvania (farmanddairy.com) — A new Keystone Animal Diagnostic Center has opened on Penn State’s Beaver Campus in Monaca, giving local farmers and veterinarians much faster access to critical animal disease testing. Backed by $6 million in state funding, the lab is already accepting samples, handling some tests on-site and forwarding others within Pennsylvania’s diagnostic network while it completes accreditation.
