• Community rocked by death of man who was pinned between machine doors in Westmoreland County (wpxi.com) — A Monessen worker was killed Sunday after being pinned between machine doors at the Cleveland-Cliffs Monessen Coke Plant, a tragedy local police say has shaken the community. Investigators from OSHA, the company, the union, and local authorities are now examining what happened while operations at the plant continue, and union officials say they're focused on supporting the victim's family and coworkers.
