• Train Derailment Caused Significant Road Damage In Morrisville: PD (patch.com) — A recent Conrail train derailment in Morrisville Borough damaged the roadway and rail infrastructure near South Delmorr Avenue and Green Street, though no injuries or leaks were reported. Police say tanker cars carrying corn syrup left the tracks around 1 a.m. Friday, and Conrail crews are now assessing damage and planning how to safely reposition the railcars.
   

• Morrisville Man Admits Role In $11M Bank Fraud: Feds (patch.com) — A Morrisville Borough man has pleaded guilty in a multi-year, $11 million bank fraud scheme and now faces up to 30 years in prison and a potential $1 million fine. Federal prosecutors say he and others deposited stolen Treasury and commercial checks in New Jersey and Pennsylvania banks, many tied to COVID-era Employee Retention Credits, with sentencing set for December 17.
