Fiber Arts Conference

Join us for a two-day conference featuring specialized workshops in needle felting, sewing, and historical fiber arts led by expert instructors Patti Cornelius and Denise Boyle. This free event includes classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, covering everything from Amish knot rag rugs to 18th-century fashion history. Sign-ups are required to ensure materials, and guests can enjoy provided refreshments and an emergency chocolate supply while participating in show-and-tell sessions.

The fiber arts conference is on! If you’ve ever wanted to learn hand sewing or felting, this is your chance! Two chock full days of fiber arts classes for beginner and experienced fiber artists alike. We have show and tell, drop spindling, sewing a pin cushion and a ditty bag, felting a hedgehog and a gnome, learning Amish rag rug weaving, beginning embroidery, knitting on a French knitter, and listening to a presentations about fiber in America and about about dressing in the 18th century.
