• Procession set to honor fallen Berks County police officer (abc27.com) — Mount Penn residents are invited to line Perkiomen Avenue and nearby roads tonight as a procession brings fallen Central Berks Regional Police Officer Kristen Yeager from Reading Hospital to Lutz Funeral Home in the borough. Starting at 8 p.m., organizers are asking homes and businesses along Route 422 and Perkiomen Avenue to turn lights blue, display blue ribbons, and wear blue in her honor.
