• Sledgehammer-wielding man breaks into York County trading card shop (ydr.com) — A New Salem Borough trading card shop was targeted in an attempted sledgehammer break‑in, linked by police to the same suspect accused of burglarizing a Springettsbury Township card store. Investigators say more than $18,000 in merchandise and up to $2,000 in cash were taken overall, and one suspect remains unidentified while charges move forward against the other.
