• Man killed after being pinned between machinery at Pa. coke plant (pennlive.com) — A 53-year-old Newell resident, Jeffrey Smith, died Sunday after being pinned between two door machines while working at the Cleveland-Cliffs coke plant in nearby Monessen. Authorities say he was pronounced dead just before 6 p.m., and both local police and OSHA are investigating as officials await autopsy and toxicology results.
