13-Year-Old New Hope Boy Found Safe

Breaking: The boy was last seen at his home in New Hope on Thursday night, police said.

UPDATE: The 13-year-old boy reported missing out of New Hope has been located and is safe, police announced Friday night. The New Hope Police Department issued the following statement: "The New Hope Police Department would like to thank everyone for all the tips we received. It was because of a tip we received that he was located. The parents also wanted the community to know that they appreciate everyone coming together and helping to find him."

NEW HOPE, PA — A 13-year-old from New Hope has been reported missing. According to police, Dylan Weeks was last seen at his York Road residence at 9 p.m. Thursday.

He is described as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.

Police believe he's wearing a dark green hoodie, black sport shorts and black hiking shoes. He is also carrying a neon yellow/green backpack, police said.
