$1K Reward Offered In Hunt For Hunterdon County Stabbing Suspect

A $1K reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect charged with attempted murder in Hunterdon County.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect charged with attempted murder in connection with a New Year's Day stabbing in Raritan Township.

According to Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III, authorities are seeking Ciro Perrone, 32, of Flemington. He's been charged with 1st degree attempted murder, 2nd degree aggravated assault and related charges.

The stabbing was reported at approximately 4:00 am, when the Raritan Township Police Department responded to a residence to aid a victim who'd been stabbed. The male victim was found with a stab wound to his shoulder and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition.

Perrone, the suspect, left the scene before police arrived and authorities have not been able to locate him.

“Anyone with information regarding Mr. Perrone’s whereabouts are urged to come forward. Crime Stoppers
of Hunterdon County has offered a cash reward of $1000 for information that leads to the apprehension of Mr. Perrone. We are thankful for Crime Stoppers continued support and assistance.”
