As Of 2 PM, New Hope Fireworks 'A Go' For Tonight

As of 2 p.m. Friday, organizers say tonight's fireworks show over New Hope and Lambertville will go on provided there are no downpours, high winds or lightning.

Fireworks organizers say they continue to monitor the weather. "Provided we do not experience heavy rains, winds or lightning at launch time we are still a go for 9:30 p.m.," the 1:45 p.m. announcement said.

Updates on the situation will be made via the Lambertville - New Hope Fireworks! Friday Night Lights on the River Facebook page.

Tonight is the season's first Friday night fireworks show. Shows are also scheduled for the following Fridays: July 6; August 3; and September 7.
