3-Hour Overnight Closure Scheduled At New Hope-Lambertville Bridge
Early morning shutdown to impact pedestrians and motorists; closure needed for temporary construction crane operations.

NEW HOPE, PA — The road deck and temporary walkway at the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge are scheduled to be shut down for three hours early Friday morning, Aug. 16.
The uninterrupted full bridge closure is expected to begin at 2 a.m. and end at 5 a.m. and will prevent crossings of motor vehicles and pedestrians. Affected motorists and pedestrians are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes and means to cross the river while the uninterrupted three-hour-long bridge closure is in effect.
The closure will allow for set-up, operation, and take down of a temporary construction crane that will be used to install replacement walkway panels and a temporary gantry to further facilitate the walkway-installation process from now through September.
