Pumpkinfest: Artistic Pumpkin Carving, Live Music, Food Trucks

Location: The ground of Moravian Pottery the Title works of Bucks County
The event features local artists who will be carving pumpkins into glowing masterpieces. The 29th annual Pumpkinfest will also include food trucks, games and live music. The cost for the event is $20 per carload with proceeds going to benefit the CB Cares Educational Foundation, which works to improve the quality of education of students in Central Bucks County. The effort also strives to keep local students safe.

VIP Walking Tour
Time: Saturday, Sunday 10 AM
Location: Doylestown Cemetery Office
This walking tour of the Doylestown Cemetery will be held in two parts beginning Saturday. The event introduces participants to important citizens of Doylestown and Bucks County that now reside in the cemetery. The event features stories of movers and shakers, some of which reached national and/or international pride. Interested parties are asked to call (215) 348-3911 to reserve a spot on the walking tour. Participants should meet at the white house at the corner of East Court and Spruce streets (the cemetery office) to begin the tour.
Bucks County Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert
Time: Saturday, 8 p.m.
Location: Delaware Valley University, Life Sciences Building, Doylestown
The concert, which marks the return of live performances by the symphony orchestra, will feature cellist Thomas Mesa and includes works by Hector Berioz, Antonin Dvorak and Paul Hindemith. Tickets are $18 for general admission, $15 for seniors and free for students. The university requires all visitors to wear face-coverings at all times while inside the Life Sciences Building.
Holy Heat Thunder Country Show IV
Time: Saturday, 4:30 p.m.
Location: Distance Picnic On Pine, 84 E. Oakland Ave., Doylestown
The outdoor concert and picnic will feature special guests Jenny Lee Stern and Hay Sugar. The evening will include the musical tastes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, John Prine and Patsy Cline from a local honky tonk supergroup led by Joe Montone and Jenny Lee Stern. Tickets can be purchased for $15 and more information about the event may be found here.
Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder
Time: Saturday, 3 p.m.
Location: Sellarsville Theater
Ricky Skaggs, the award-winning country music artist who has won 14 Grammy Awards, eight Country Music Awards and two Dove Awards and whose No. 1 hits include “Crying My Heart Out Over You”, “Country Boy”, “Cajun Moon” and “Uncle Penn”, will perform after the show is opened by the Lehigh Blue Valley Bluegrass band. Tickets run between $45-$69 and proof of vaccination or a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours is required.
