Bench Dedicated In Honor Of Retired New Hope Public Works Director
The new addition at Green Roof Park is a thank you to Tom Carroll from the borough's Parks and Recreation Board.
NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Parks and Recreation Board on June 14 honored Tom Carroll, retired director of public works, for his 29 years of dedicated service to New Hope Borough.
A bench with his name was placed on the Green Roof Park located behind the police station at the New Hope Borough Hall. If you haven't been to the Green Roof Park, stop by and enjoy this unique borough asset.
Taking part in the dedication were Christina Szabo, New Hope Treasurer; Peter Gray, New Hope Borough Manager; Tom Carroll, retired Director of Public Works; Eileen O'Neil, New Hope Park and Recreation member; Beth Hasher, chairperson, New Hope Park and Recreation; and Diana Williams, New Hope Park and Recreation member.
