Body Retrieved From Delaware River In Bucks County
Solebury Township Police investigating the identity and manner of death of a deceased man found Easter Sunday morning.
SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — A body was recovered from the Delaware River on Easter Sunday morning after it was spotted lodged in the rocks just north of Route 263 in the township.
According to Solebury Township Police, a passerby noticed what appeared to be a body while they were walking along the Delaware Canal Towpath. That was around 10:15 a.m.
Police arrived on location via boat and retrieved the body with the assistance of the New Hope Eagle Fire Company, the Point Pleasant Fire Company and Central Bucks EMS.

The Bucks County Coroner also responded to the scene and confirmed the body of a deceased adult man. An autopsy was conducted on Monday and further forensic investigations are underway, police said.
Police are investigating potential leads into the identity of the man.
