Bridge Street Chamber Players Bring Mandolin Concert To Solebury

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bridge Street Chamber Players will present a chamber music concert on Sunday beginning at 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church Solebury, 6587 Upper York Road, Solebury 18963.

The Players will present a dynamic program of "Duos and Double Concerti" for mandolins.

Among the works performed will be a world premiere of a new double concerto by composer and Philadelphia classical guitarist Allen Krantz for mandolin, mandola, and string ensemble.

The program will also include a double concerto by Baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni and will explore the possibilities of instrumental duos throughout music history.

The players are under the direction of Gabriel Locati.
