Eagles Parade Watch Parties In Bucks County

Several local restaurants and bars are offering specials for today's Eagles parade.

Here's a good reason to stick around Bucks County for the Eagles Super Bowl Parade on Thursday: free beer.

Doylestown Brewing Company's Hops Bar & Grill is hosting an Eagles Parade Watch Party on Thursday and it will include one free beer for anyone 21 and older. Plus, there will be wing specials. The party starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m.

"If you can't make it down to the city then come celebrate at the Hops Bar & Grill. Anyone 21 or older will receive one free pint on us," the local brewing company said.

Hops Bar & Grill is located at 52 East State St., Doylestown.

  • The Green Parrot in Newtown is offering happy hour prices through Thursday in celebration of the Eagles and the parade.
  • The Pineville Tavern (Durham Road, Pineville) is running happy hour prices from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Offers there include $4 house drinks, half-price bar snacks (wings, potato skins, egg rolls, etc.) and $2.50 domestic drafts.
  • The Jamison Pour House is hosting a Parade Party. The parade will be on 30 TVs, plus patrons will get 10 percent off food (eat-in only) if they wear Eagles gear. A special sandwich will be offered called the Philly Special — roast beef with caramelized onions and cheese. Plus, there will be a pork roll and thousand island special. $2.50 domestic drafts. The Jamison Pour House is located at 2160 York Road, Jamison.

The parade will begin at Lincoln Financial Field near Broad and Pattison streets at 11 a.m. on Thursday. It will traverse to S. Penn Square, head west on S. Penn Square to 15th Street, north on 15th to JFK Boulevard, and then west on the Parkway before ultimately ending at the Art Museum steps.

Along the route, there will be video screens and numerous Eagles-related attractions for fans. The Parkway will be lined with food trucks and port-a-potties.

Following the parade, a formal program will take place on the Art Museum steps at 1 p.m. The festivities are expected to end at 3 p.m.
