That's right: there will be five questions all based on facts and information related to the collections at the historic Doylestown museum. So how did Doylestown's beloved museum attain such status to warrant the attention from show producers?

According to information from Nicole Joie, the museum's public relations and marketing coordinator, a show producer contacted them last year. The producer said there was an interest in exploring the museum's collection as a potential category.

Over the course of several months, Mercer Museum staff worked with producers to identify various artifacts from the museum's collection that held interesting stories and wide appeal, according to Joie.

The Jeopardy! crew filmed on location at the museum in 2018. The six-story, concrete castle on South Pine Street dates back to 1916 and features various historical artifacts collected by historian and archaeologist Henry Mercer.

The staff says they're thrilled to see the museum take center stage on the game show and is proud Mercer's vision will be presented on a national stage.

"The Mercer Museum's appearance on Jeopardy! is a wonderful platform to share the breadth and importance of the museum's collection and a fantastic way to showcase its unique architectural and cultural relevance to a national audience," said Marjan Shirzad, VP of Community Services & Marketing for the Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle.

"Jeopardy!" airs at 7 p.m. on ABC.
