“I am very excited to welcome Josh to Solebury School,” said Head of School Tom Wilschutz. “He has the experience and all the tools needed to lead our advancement team and build on the success we have experienced. He is a perfect fit for our community, and we could not be more thrilled.”

Nay brings more than 20 years of experience in creating and strengthening cultures of philanthropy. He served as a frontline fundraiser in higher education and worked for nonprofits to secure seven-figure gifts and commitments. Most recently, he worked at the University of
Pennsylvania, where he held the positions of senior director of development and alumni engagement for the School of Nursing; Director of Class Giving and Reunion Programs for The Penn Fund; and Senior Class Giving Director, 45th and 50th Reunions for The Penn Fund.

“As a Bucks County native, I am well-acquainted with the school’s excellent reputation and am thrilled to join the Solebury family,” shared Nay. “I am eager to collaborate with the school’s talented faculty and staff and look forward to meeting Solebury’s students, parents, alumni, and

He is a cubmaster for the Washington Crossing Council of the Boy Scouts of America, participates in the University of Pennsylvania Orphan Disease Research Center’s Million Dollar Bike Ride, and volunteers with the National MPS Society (Durham, NC).

“This was not an easy position to fill, but in Josh, I think we found someone who will be able to build on the successes of Jenn Burns P’19 [former Assistant Head of School, Advancement & External Affairs] and the Advancement team,” shared Dan Cohen ’63 who was on the search committee and is the vice chair of the board of trustees. “It's an exciting time for Solebury with great plans for the school's future as it prepares to celebrate its Centennial.”

Working closely with the Head of School, Tom Wilschutz, Nay will implement plans that align with the school's goals and priorities. He will also grow and strengthen positive relationships with the various constituencies, which is critical to a thriving independent school.
