Bucks County Playhouse To Host Irish Music Festival
The Bucks County Playhouse will host an Irish Music Festival on March 16 and 17.

The Bucks County Playhouse will host an Irish Music Festival on March 16 and 17. On March 16, The Galway Girls will present "Songs of Ireland" at 8 p.m. Then, on March 17, the The River Drivers will perform at 8 p.m.
The Galway Girls will play authentic Irish music, including classics like “Four Green Fields,” “Whiskey in the Jar,” “Danny Boy” and more.
The River Drivers have roots in Ireland and Scotland. "They play a combination of traditional Irish songs, as well as folk music from America and the rest of the Anglo-Celtic world, and find ways of making the traditional visceral again." according to information from the Playhouse.

The band is anchored by Kevin McCloskey (vocals, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass) and Mindy Murray (vocals, guitar, banjo, lap steel) with accompaniment by Marian Moran (tin whistle, low whistle, concertina, bodhrán) and Meagan Ratini (fiddle, Irish flute, tin whistle).
“The River Drivers have cultivated a passion-infused style drawing from Celtic, Americana and Mountain influences. Their music is now heard at many festivals and other venues throughout the region and can also be found anchoring a weekly Irish session at a local pub in Bristol," information from the Playhouse said.
