NEW HOPE, PA - The public is invited to the rededication of the Stockton Avenue Bridge on Tuesday, Oct. 31 beginning at noon.
Bucks County Bridge No. 36 l, which spans the Aquetong Creek, will be renamed in honor of Vietnam Veteran SSgt Karol Raymond Bauer who lost his life in Vietnam.

Born in New York City and raised in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Bauer lived in Wrightstown at the time of his death and is buried in New Hope.
The dedication continues an ongoing collaboration between the Pennsylvania Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the County of Buck to honor local servicemen who were among the 136 from Bucks County killed or missing in action during the Vietnam War.
