A Bucks County Tradition Shifts into Gear: The 2026 New Hope Automobile Show Returns August 8–9, 2026

A summertime tradition is shifting back into gear as New Hope Helping presents the 2026 New Hope Automobile Show weekend, along with the annual Road Rally through scenic Bucks County.

The New Hope Automobile Show returns Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of New Hope-Solebury High School. But first, car lovers can enjoy the show’s popular Road Rally on Sunday, July 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (pre-registration required to participate).

For 69 years, some of the finest antique and classic automobiles in the country have made their way to New Hope to be judged for authenticity, originality, cleanliness, and condition. Throughout its history, the show has welcomed as many as 10,000 visitors over the two-day event, all gathered to appreciate the design, engineering, history, and craftsmanship of vehicles from around the world.

The Road Rally: A Bucks County Driving Tradition — Sunday, July 26, 2026

The New Hope Automobile Show’s 16th annual Road Rally offers an entertaining morning drive through beautiful Bucks County, blending a scenic route with a lighthearted scavenger hunt and a few fun challenges along the way.

The rally begins at New Hope-Solebury High School. Participants should arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. for instructions, with the rally beginning at 10:00 a.m. Cars of all kinds are welcome. Classic cars are always encouraged, but everyday vehicles are just as welcome to join the fun. The cost is $60 per car and pre-registration is required.

Sponsored by Solebury Parks and Recreation, the rally continues its partnership with the Philadelphia Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), whose support helps ensure a safe and well-organized event. As part of the event’s continued collaboration with SCCA, all drivers and navigators must complete temporary SCCA membership forms before participating. Participants are encouraged to download, complete, and bring the forms with them on the morning of the rally to help keep the event running smoothly. The Main Event: The New Hope Automobile Show — August 8 and 9, 2026

The New Hope Automobile Show will take place Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s Show will recognize two iconic milestones in automotive and motorcycle history: the 100th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz and the 100th anniversary of Ducati. Ducati will be showcased on both Saturday and Sunday, while Mercedes-Benz will be showcased on Sunday.

Saturday’s full line-up will feature domestic classes, including Rods — Hot, Rat, Street, Restomods, and Custom — along with Replicars and an Exhibition class for vehicles that do not fit into the show’s other categories.

Sunday will highlight foreign vehicles, with many of the show’s traditional foreign classes returning from 2025.

For spectators, general admission is $10 per person. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Active military members and their families are admitted free with ID. No pets are allowed.

On-site parking is $5 and can be accessed from the Route 202 spur road at Hardy Bush Way. Visitors should follow posted signs, as well as the directions of traffic police and parking lot staff. For those walking in from the center of New Hope, there are two pedestrian visitor entrance gates accessed via Bridge Street.

A Tradition That Gives Back

Both the Road Rally and The New Hope Automobile Show are presented by New Hope Helping, a charitable organization that supports scholarships for deserving New Hope-Solebury graduating seniors, as well as local community projects.

Since 1957, The New Hope Automobile Show has helped provide $1.6 million for scholarships and initiatives that benefit the New Hope-Solebury community. New Hope Helping has also expanded its work to aid local families and businesses during times of need, including natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on health, education, and relief.
