Leonardo da Vinci famously said, “The smallest feline is a masterpiece.” If that’s true, Tabby’s Place is lovelier than the Louvre.
On Sunday, May 18th, from 12-4pm, the Ringoes, NJ cat sanctuary will host its Annual Kitten Shower and Adoption Event. Tabby’s Place invites cat lovers to admire and adopt from a “gallery” of kittens.
Feline festivities will include:
- Reduced adoption fees for all cats and kittens ($100 rather than the usual $150 for one cat, $150 instead of the usual $250 for a pair; discount runs from May 18 – June 1)
- Playtime with the kittens
- Free tours of Tabby’s Place
- Scrumptious refreshments
- Activities for children, including a scavenger hunt
The love-filled event is free to attend, but donations are much appreciated.
If you’re looking for a heart-melting masterpiece to put the Mona Lisa to shame, look no further than the Tabby’s Place Kitten Shower on May 18th!
Can’t attend, but still want to cherish the kittens? Sponsor the Tabby’s Place Kitten Fund.

About Tabby’s Place
Since 2003, Tabby’s Place, www.tabbysplace.org, has been a world class, cage-free sanctuary for cats from hopeless situations.
Tabby’s Place embraces the neediest cats regardless of age, medical issues, or temperament, making it a harbor of hope for the most desperate, with a particular focus on cats with advanced needs. At any given time, 30-40% of Tabby’s Place’s cats have chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and paraplegia. Most of the sanctuary’s residents are healthy cats who ran out of time in desperate circumstances, and nearly all are available for adoption.
The sanctuary is a uniquely nurturing environment, providing the tenderness, patience and personalized care cats need to trust people, whatever their past. The physical facility supports this level of care, having been designed from the ground up to meet cats’ needs and delight their senses with bright, open suites; and safe access to outdoor solaria.
Love and grace characterize Tabby’s Place’s interactions with everyone it encounters, feline or otherwise. The Tabby’s Place team strives to treat each person and cat with respect, compassion, and generosity of spirit.
Tabby’s Place can be reached at 908-237-5300 or info@tabbysplace.org, or by mail at 1100 US Highway 202, Ringoes, NJ 08551.
