The Friends of the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury invite the community to a Writer’s Salon with author Roy Ziegler on Monday, May 11, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Free Library, 93 W. Ferry Street.
Ziegler will share insights from his new book, The Mysterious Mr. Maris, which uncovers the life of William Maris—an early New Hope merchant who became a builder, bank president, and operator of four local mills.
Tickets are $20 and include the book, the author talk, and refreshments. Proceeds support programs funded by the Friends. Tickets are available at friendsflnhs.org or at the door.
