Lahaska, PA — Lace Silhouettes Lingerie (LSL) invites the community to step out in pink and show their support at a one-mile fundraising walk through Peddler’s Village on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, benefiting Main St. (formerly Pine2Pink). Proceeds from the event will help provide direct support to breast cancer patients right here in the local community.
This one-mile walk has been a tradition for LSL for over 35 years. The company’s founder and president, Karen Thompson, and her team are dedicated to supporting the local community through various philanthropic events each year. “The Walk Pink Event is one of the first fundraisers I put together for the company. Breast cancer has touched many families within our community, making it especially important to myself and my team during breast cancer awareness month to raise funding for the cause,” Thompson noted.
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM at Lace Silhouettes Lingerie in Peddler’s Village. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative “pinked out” outfits and join the fun. Participants will enjoy complimentary refreshments and light bites, plus plenty of photo opportunities to capture the morning’s energy and spirit.
The event will also feature raffle baskets generously donated by the shops of Peddler’s Village. Following the walk, attendees are invited back to Lace Silhouettes Lingerie for a special shopping event, where a portion of sales will be donated directly to Main St.
The Main St. foundation is a family run non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and empower people and businesses to support the needs of local cancer patients. The organization has helped over 2000 local breast cancer patients while also funding programs for food assistance, counseling and therapy, out-of-pocket expenses, and many more services. By joining the walk and shopping event, participants not only enjoy a festive morning in Peddler’s Village but also make a meaningful impact for local breast cancer patients, ensuring that support stays within the community.
