Car Crashes Through Front Doors At CVS Store In Lambertville

LAMBERTVILLE, NEW JERSEY — A car crashed through the front doors and into a CVS store at 299 North Street in Lambertville, New Jersey early Saturday afternoon causing significant damage to the building, but luckily resulting in only minor injuries.

The car ended up in the candy aisle of the store leaving a path of strewn merchandise, knocked over kiosks and plenty of frayed nerves for the shoppers and employees inside the building at the time of the crash.

The Lambertville Police Department, the city's Office of Emergency Management, the Lambertville Fire District No. 1 and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene early Saturday afternoon.

The CVS will remain closed until further notice while the mess is cleaned up.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
