Community Farm Tour And Happy Hour To Celebrate Solebury

SOLEBURY, PA — Solebury Township is teaming up with four township farms to present a “From Solebury Soil To Community" farm tour on Saturday, followed by a “Celebrate Solebury Community Happy Hour” at Manoff’s Market & Gardens in the evening.

From 12 to 5 p.m., the public is invited to visit four farms throughout Solebury where they can build connections with the local farmers who help feed and sustain the community, and then cap off the day with a community happy hour. The event takes place rain or shine.

Participating farms include:

• Solebury Orchards - 3325 Creamery Road, New Hope 18938.
  Enjoy pick-your-own apples and flowers, tractor rides, local market goods, and more. Normally, reservations are required at Solebury Orchards during the fall season, but farm tour participants do not need a reservation during this event.
• Roots to River - 3175 Sugan Road, New Hope 18938. Stop by for wood-fired pizza and outdoor seating, farm-to-table lunch options, local produce, pick-your-own flowers, and farm tours every hour on the hour.
• Spring Creek Farms - 6262 Meetinghouse Road, New Hope 18938. Explore the farm with hourly tours and browse a selection of local market goods.
• Manoff’s Market & Gardens - 3157 Comfort Road, New Hope 18938. Take an hourly farm tour led by the owners, and enjoy local produce, cider, market goods, and more.

Make a day of it by participating in the "From Solebury Soil Scavenger Hunt." Scavenger hunt sheets are available for download on the township website, in the municipal buildding lobby, and at all participating farm locations.

Participants don't have to visit the farms in any particular order — start and finish wherever you like. Once you've completed the scavenger hunt, bring the sheet to the Celebrate Solebury Happy Hour at Manoff’s Market & Gardens and choose your reward:
3 raffle tickets for a chance to win a basket filled with local goods or one free drink ticket for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cider from Manoff’s.

After exploring Solebury’s farms, keep the celebration going at Manoff’s Market & Gardens from 5 to 8 p.m. with the "Celebrate Solebury Happy Hour." The evening will include live music, food trucks, local cider, a children's activity area, yard games, local organizations, community tables, and more.
